In honor of my birthday : ) I am sharing my top 5 favorite desserts with you... haha... I just couldn't resist.

#1 MOST DEFINITELY Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting

#2 Warm and gooey right from the oven CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES!!!! #3 ICE CREAM!!!! I love all ice cream but I am particularly fond of Mint Chocolate chip. Yuuuumy!

#4 Peanut Butter Cookies....mmmmm....with a hershey's kiss in the middle.
#5 Banana Pudding!!! With lots of BANANAS!!!!

I hope this ridiculously unhealthy line up brings a happy grin to your face like it does to mine.

My Precious Little Sara Sister graduated from highschool last night!!!!

I wasn't able to be there since it was on a Tuesday night for some weirdo reason but my sweet daddy kept me updated throughout the evening by texting me pictures. Here are some of them:

Rainbow my Cloudy day Away.

I left my darling Weims in the backyard this moring as is was a sunshinny beautiful day when I woke up. So...on my way back to the studio after an appointment I saw an incredible display in the sky of ginormous cloud swooping in and by the time I could make it home it was dumping rain. So when I got home and opened the back door to let the pups, they were no where to be seen! I ran out in the rain and found them hunkered down against the fence in the corner. poor babies. (Lucas, this is me giving you permission to build an AWESOME dog house). Needless to say, I was SOAKED!!!!

So...I have created myself a rainbow of beautiful shoes to gaze at, in hopes that all this rain will be done soon. : )

Island Dreams

My sweet little kitchen could use some extra counter space... how would a delightfully lovely turquoise island be??? My oak cabinets are all stained and I think a splash of color and some additional prep space sounds just dandy... not a huge fan of the stucco-esque walls, but check out that AWESOME backsplash...

Sew....what do you think?

I have a lovely old sewing machine at my house that my sweet mother-in-law is letting me borrow. It looks exactly like the one I used growing up to make baby doll clothes.

I'm sure it's still usable, but ever since I made valances for my living rom, I can't get it to work right for me...

I'm really wanting to get more into sewing and I am thinking that I might be asking for a sewing machine for my birthday... I have it narrowed down to two.

I am taking simplicity and price into consideration... Tell me which one you think is better or make suggestions for other machines:

Possum Kingdom Weekend Trip...

Lucas and his friends put together a back porch "formal" at one of the guys college houses a few years ago and now it's a tradition. Each year there is a theme and every guy brings a date and we have dinner and play games and just hang out. The first year was "famous couples," the next year was "funky fest" (70s), and this year was "Texas."

...This being the 3rd year, they decided to take it up to the next level and make it an out of town event. So we all rented cabins at Sky Camp on Possum Kingdom Lake. When we got there, they had the marquee lit up with a welcome sign for our group...
